PROJECT 3

WONDERMAKER: ‘Animate’ + Rebuild

REFLECTION:
Throughout this final project, I learnt a lesson that we must think about the issues expectation before doing or presenting on our board.  Being careless is experienced which at least we can learn from mistake, but not running away from problems. I learnt a lot from my friends that not to do works on last minutes. Always be prepared before things happened.
WONDERMAKER set foot in the narration of the ‘life of a creator’ after the apocalypse. With limited or infinite physical resources, creativity will always continuously dwell in each individual to sustain and to survive. Devastation of culture, context, history, lifestyle, discovery; how would one ‘re-shape’ the new culture that is left from the ‘scraps’ and set a new revolution or rebuild the future of the interior space?

Task: What’s done, is done, how do we move forward with what’s left? Something new? Or continue with the previous archaic way of life?

“This architecture cannot be subjected to any law of historical continuity. It must be new, just as our state of mind is new” – Umberto Boccioni, Italy, 1914.

“I see stuff from the future, and I’m such a futurist that I have to slow down and talk in the present”. – Kanye West.

We are required to design and build the interior from the given site; The ROW. Design conceptual is requisite to inherit from Project 02 as approach. Execution must be shown in detail design process & programming via various mediums of art creatively in continuous A3 size butter paper (minimum) of drawings, model making, photography, experimentation, narration and in-depth research of the selected idea of the tittle. WONDERMAKER is essential to be visualized as a notion of the ‘maker/creator’ and be seen as a hub that is able to produce hard and soft products and commercialize it to the public that holds value and it’s own identity and branding.
