FINAL MODEL MAKING - COMPACT LIVING
My Compact Living Names C.DE COOP. It Defines AS SEE THE COOP HIMMELB(L)AU. This Final Project had directly related to my first project and second project. First project was talking about to acknowledge our Architects. My architect is COOP HIMMELB(L)AU. COOP HIMMELB(L)AU is actually a group of famous architects which included 6 members formed by WOLF.D.PRIX. He is the main character in this group and I acknowledged that there were 5 main characteristic in their works. The 5 characteristics included IRREGULAR SHAPES TWISTING, RHYTHM, MODERNISM, GEOMETRICAL DESIGN AND DECONSTRUCTED & REDIFINED ARCHITECTURE.
In my second project, we are required to bring the 5 main characteristics to create a support pod for our architects. The aim of this project is to prove us that determine to develop of the ideas and characteristics of first project that we discovered lead us to a crazier design. My support pod have 2 levels and it was inspired by one of the COOP HIMMELB(L)AU's work which is EUROPEAN CENTRAL BANK. This building's main characteristic is irregular shapes twisting therefore my pod owns first floor that can be twist to open up the entrance. I used white colour and blue colour as the main colour it is because they are the most general colour that used by COOP HIMMELB(L)AU.
In the third project which means my final project, we are required to design a compact living space. I did brought the 5 characteristics towards this project. My final presentation board had included plans, 4 elevation views, 2 section views, 3D perspectives, some interior perspectives, narrative drawings and an 45 degree oblique drawing. I used four colours in this project which are red colour, brown colour, grey colour, and blue colour. They are defined as material finished, timber wood, concrete and glass, kindly related to the law of nature. There are also have mechanism in some places such like collapsing entrance, hidden fridge, and collapsing wall for resting area.
In conclusion, every work takes time but when I paid off I gained eventually. Although I am quite disappointed for my final presentation and I learnt lesson from it. Hope I can do it better next time.
